Just True Arts engraves the text you type at checkout, in the font you pick. The font is a label on the order, F1 through F6, so the workshop can cut the letters in that style. It does not change the price or the wood.
What do you enter at checkout?
- Font. Choose F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, or F6.
- Text to engrave. A name, initials, or a date. Keep it short enough to fit the board you chose. A smaller board fits fewer letters.
Both lines appear on the order. The workshop uses that text and that font. If the font line is empty, the letters cannot be matched to a style.
What reads well in wood?
Initials and a year are the most reliable, for example "A.B. 2026". A full name works on L and XL boards. A long sentence is a poor fit on S and M boards, because the letters have to stay large enough to read in the grain.
Which sets include engraving?
Free engraving is offered on the live-edge set, the set with drawers, the storage-drawer board, and the single-drawer board. Add the font and the text on the product page before you add the set to the cart.
